Discovering Nina’s Secret: Nina L’Eau

If you follow ASN on instagram, you will have seen some of my epic adventues in Paris discovering the mystery and beauty behind the brand Nina Ricci.

Invited as part of a special group of bloggers which had come from all over the world to spend some time in the city of love, we got to soak up the beauty and of course, learn more about Nina.

First up, a visit to an exquisite Paris apartment draped in the dreamy world of Nina Ricci. We peek through doors to find curious objects, get mesmerised by moving mirrors and tricks of the light that create a spell binding atmosphere not unlike the actual ad campaign.

I think the best thing would be to take a peek for yourself at the campaign to understand my sensory experience….

Entering into the world of Nina

What’s behind door number one?

Taking a peek

A snow white room full of mirrors…

Making the most of the mirrors to check out my beloved Kate Spade shoes :)

And in the next room…. Igloo the snow white owl!

The next room we were led through featured the beautiful as campaign where the signifigance of the snow white owl becomes obvious.

And then the moment of the evening! We get to meet Paloma, one of the three owls used in the making of the ad campaign. Being in the presence if such a beautiful creature was incredible and also a little bit terrifying!

Apparently she likes her eyebrows (do birds have eyebrows?!) stroked

A nervous smile

Friends :)

We moved on into our final room that featured the other two stars of the campaign – Frida and THE dress.

Model Frida Gustavsson is the face of the scent and is seen in a stunning muslin and Chantilly lace gown running through the snow covered maze. The dress took 15 people 350 hours to make and boasts a plunging neckline and fitted bodice, with a flowing skirt which falls to the floor.

This is just the first part of my Parisian adventure so stay tuned for further posts revealing more about the ethos of the brand and a VERY icy cold blogger photo shoot!

Wonderful insight into the magical illusion and effort behind the ad. Could be putting this scent on the big Valentine ‘hint’ list!
